The first time I published with Curiosity Quills Press (run by Eugene Teplitsky and Alisa Gus) felt like magic. The second time, not so much. They had started cutting corners around 2016, and had pretty much shut down and ghosted every author they had under contract in 2019 because they had decided to dick around with cryptocurrency and blockchain bullshit instead. I’m a bit sour on commercial publishing now. I’d rather just put fiction up on my website.",
