I tend to agree with what Ben says. I might change my tune on the ai stuff, if it is provably self-contained/hosted.
You can use SyncThing / SyncTrayzor to sync between devices.
I've got some other work that needs my attention first, but working on a cheat sheet for hotkeys (you will need to change in settings to what you prefer), this is still a messy and incomplete WIP (obviously replace ctrl with cmd if on mac):
As a colorblind graphic designer who suffers from aphasia and has a very bad memory on even the best days, Obsidian feels like I finally have a crutch for both of my broken legs! Like a pair of glasses where I once was nearly blind. And I've only started using it since, what.. Tuesday‽
Thank you Mr. Gunn for giving me the last bump to the head I needed to try it out!
Oh, you may want to try a FOSS piece of kit first like
https://logseq.com/ or
https://foambubble.github.io/foam/ (tipped by
https://twitter.com/lumsdnb). There are of course trade-offs.
