My brush holds light and shade,
On gesso, smooth and white.
A sacred promise made,
By hands in soft moon light.

I mix the earthy blend,
Red ochre, black, and gold.
On this old piece of wood,
A story to unfold.

My son, he watches near,
His fingers trace the frame.
Each stroke a whispered #prayer,
Kindling a holy flame.

The #Mother’s gentle eyes,
Or Savior, calm and deep.
Through painted wood, they rise,
Secrets the faithful keep.

This window, brightly shown,
Connects us, here and there.
A love that's truly known,
Beyond all earthly care.
