More and more, recently, I see otherwise-apparently-smart-and-discerning people enthusiastically supporting things that are, to me, self-evidently deeply flawed. GoLang, DataDog, Code-writing LLMs, Event Sourcing. I really do worry that I have become a calcified Grumpy Old Man Coder who is just suspicious of anything new - but, then, when I try to actually probe them on the benefits that outweigh the _clear_ drawbacks, they just deflect. Confusing.
