I gave a homeless woman some cash & a ride into the city yesterday. She had a college degree. Education doesn't prevent people from falling through the cracks.
I wasn't scared of her, just scared of letting her down by not doing enough. Don't be afraid to talk to homeless people. We talked about anime and she laughed when i said I only like anime if it has cats.
Wish I could have done more. I hope my conversation & treating her like a normal person gave her a boost, along w the ride & cash.
