#FountainPen question!
I haven't tried a Sailor or Pelikan, and I don't live near anywhere where I could try one, don't know anyone irl with the FP hobby (except my partner who caught the bug from me). I don't want to spring for one of the pricier models in case I don't like them. Are the nibs and ink flow represented in a more entry level pen for the respective brands? If so, which pens would give a good idea if I'll like the brand in general?
(Overall I am after smoothness and a good seal.)
