Ephemeral cashu mints based around certain events, festivals, meetups seem like a cool idea to explore.
People can load up and spend, with offline ecash payments as a fallback if connectivity has lapses with some BTC POS terminals or if people want to buy sell and spend away from the main venue e.g. related bars and restaurants, and at the end of the event, all remaining funds can be sweeped out, or dust can be left in as a donation.
Then the mint goes offline.
