Was asked what would make me consider paying for a company's software.
"Make it not a subscription service" was my response.
The whole free trial/autorenew business model of hoping people forget to cancel is premised on the exploitation of people with cognitive differences (some of which amount to legally protected disabilities) and that is really noxious and unpleasant.
