Humane appears to be a cautionary tale of what can happen when you create a culture that emphasizes positivity to the extreme and punishes constructive criticism.
This culture is very damaging both to employees and to the product itself. In essence you are lying to yourself and your staff, and employees have to believe and repeat the company line to some degree or be sidelined or dismissed. Something built on top of lies will eventually collapse.
