For six years, a growing community of people in #Appalachia have organized to use direct action to stop the construction of the Mountain Valley Pipeline. Massively behind schedule due to protests and lawsuits, the project was recently green-lit thanks to pro-fossil fuels Democrats like Joe Manchin and is now been fast tracked through the permit process by the Biden administration.
But with the campaign showing no signs of slowing down to stop the MVP, corporations are now filing SLAPP suits and injunctions against protesters, as legal avenues to stop the pipeline disappear.
