Cheers to GearWrench Bolt Biter and PB B'laster for helping me loosen a badly rusted-on and frozen nut from a battery hold-down bolt.
Sprayed it liberally with WD-40 first, which didn't do jack. B'laster's penetrating oil did the trick, and the GearWrench Bolt Biter kit I picked up finally got the nut loose.
All to extract a dead car battery (which, if all goes well, will be recharged tomorrow).
Much cheaper fix than having it towed to a service station.
