I've been actively avoiding them for a few years now.
Although that is often easier said than done unless you prepare and cook everything you eat by yourself at home, and only use raw unprocessed & unpackaged ingredients. Also eating out means your meal has most likely been cooked in some cheap seed oil.
OTOH it does make my food choices and shopping easier, albeit often pricier, too, and my cooking becomes much simpler. I can skip several things but still enjoy tasty meals.
