I've a very elderly auntie with a birthday that's a month away. Although she's been talking of dying for years she keeps on going I think perhaps driven by whatever she's next hanging on for, so for eg, this year it's the Olympics.
Anyway there's a list of the oldest living people in the UK and checking her ranking in this has become a bit of a sick obsession, and we're not sure she should really be celebrating moving up a few places as a result of a flurry of winter deaths.
