Blockchain is an inefficient database that can only solve 2/3:
1. Decentralization
2. Security
3. Speed
Bitcoin is the only viable option the concentrates on 1 & 2.
Solutions to speed must be layered on top and sacrifice 1 and/or 2.
This is the basic logic of why maximalism exists. Using shicoins to solve 3 adds unnecessary friction. Evolution hates friction. If you don't need 1, you don't need a blockchain.
