Start by checking if your channels are not DISABLED by your peers.
And you can check that easily in amboss.space or mempool.space/lightning with opening your node page.
BTW opening a channel with 1ML is only to get a wider LN graph, are not meant to be used for making payments. That's why usually users open a small channel with them.
