On this Juneteenth, our second Independence Day, we celebrate the emancipation of enslaved people, in particular of Black folks in the US, and reflect on how far we still have to go to realize the ideals of freedom, liberty, and justice for all.
Today is a great day to volunteer, donate, and offer patronage to organizations and causes run by Black people.
