I am convinced things started to go downhill somewhere shortly after sunrpc.
To remote control the charge setting on an ecoflow battery unit you have to
- Perform a weird json encoded things in https handshake with login and password to get a new set of auth info
- Talk json over mqtt to a server in China somewhere with these new credentials
