- cackling madly at my own jokes
- when characters Do Stuff I didn't expect
- when I find something I wrote in Ch 2 that I can bring back in Ch 7 so it looks like a deliberate foreshadow
- fight scenes!
But the most fun is when it's done, when it becomes a thing that exists in the universe. People read it, and they are transported. They have feelings about it. That's the *most* fun. The audience.
