I found this crazy wild clown oil painting outside the trash room of my apartments last night. The artist is Jim Gleason who is a Seattle native and has painted J.P. Patches and other clowns back in the 70s and 80s. There's currently one painting of his on eBay selling for $350.
You can see why this spoke to me. 🐎🪽🤡🎠
I hope to one day restore it to it's original glory and find a frame befitting of it's grandeur. I actually found the artist's email and hope he will reply. He currently lives in Eatonville, WA.
