While today’s well-known saint is Francis Xavier Cabrini, a lesser known saint who is celebrated today is St. Homobonus. I am well familiar with the power of his intercession as my wife has been devoted to him for several years. His prayers have resulted in the flourishing of her small business. She jokingly says that because he is not well known he has plenty of time to pray for her. He is the patron of business people.
