one of the coolest things for me about roleplay has always been how other players can effect your character and their story in much more different and interesting ways than you ever could... but that never happens.
instead players will shit out 6 paragraphs full of big words theyre using incorrectly that they busted out thesaurus.com for, and all they ever do is say "look at my character my character is so Powerful and Sexy and my character is good at EVERYTHING and my character is UNKILLABLE and my character will immediately use their magic powers to fix all of your well-written character flaws GUYS GUYS EVERYBODY LOOK AT MY CHARACTER. MY CHARACTER IS SO COOL. GUYS EVERYBODY LOOK AT MY CHARACTER PLEASE
and i just can't do it bro. good roleplayers are impossible to find. and then if you do get into a decent roleplay community you have to deal with people who have stupid petty retarded drama and they'll make sure you hear all about it every time you talk to them.
