I noticed my favorite desktop youtube client #Freetube has been broken for a few days, due to the usual Google meddling.
That gave me a chance to try out the latest #Grayjay Desktop Alpha which is working fine. It has a nice polished UI, but is still lacking features. I really like how it has an account-less sync between the Grayjay app on my mobile device. I wish more local-first apps had such a seamless sync feature.
Its amazing how pleasant and powerful software can be without any login.
