➡️ Join the hotel loyalty program. I enroll in almost all programs and often get upgrades and discounts.
➡️ Politely address the hotel staff and ask to be transferred to another room, pointing out the shortcomings of the current one. Sometimes they will go to the meeting themselves, especially if you have a special occasion or event, such as a birthday or wedding.
➡️ You can cheat a little and say that you really have a reason - an anniversary, for example. They are unlikely to check, but they will make a discount or increase the level.
