your point about the colon i think is interesting
am I right in thinking it is generally used to apply conditions to a set to specify the "universe" - eg
∃𝑛 (𝑛∈ℕ:n>3) [𝑛²+1>100]
so here we have said 1. "there exists" and 2. defined the universe (set), and 3. the target condition
is there the "official standard"?
