Seriously, I tried to love that fuckwad even after he walked out on his "forever family" (he left because my mom wouldn't be a doormat) and then continued to push his religion, that he couldn't even follow himself, onto me. He wrote me a letter for my 18th birthday about what a disappointment I was for rejecting Mormonism. He wrote a goddamn book about how evil the outside world is, and used me as a fucking example in it. Even then, I didn't disown him. God knows why. But then in 2015 he went full MAGA, started posting the most vile Islamophobic shit on Facebook and I said enough is enough. I returned the earlier favor by commenting how ashamed of him I was, prompting him to unfriend me, and then I never spoke to him again. Didn't go to his funeral either. No regrets except that I didn't chew him out even more. I'm glad he's gone.
No idea why I am thinking about this today, I guess I just felt like trauma dumping. I promise I'll return to posting bad puns soon.
