Back on Linux a million years ago, I had some program that put images and text on my desktop, and I'd use it as a pinboard, switch to an unused desktop to see it clearly (didn't have anything like Mac OS Exposé).
Kinda annoying I don't have any such now.
I could just use Stickies for this, that's where I usually put my TODOs and such, but it can't resize images.
Could just make a big image stack (with Acorn? ImageMagick?) export it to background.png, but surely there's a smarter solution?
