Cory Booker's politics suck ass.
He spent 25 hours repeatedly telling the people of the United States that there had to be mass mobilization and that the people are more powerful than the agents of the state, he repeatedly said that the US has been seized by oligarchy and there is no guarantee that future elections will be free or fair, and he spent much of his time reading letters from those directly effected by the regime. By the end of his speech he had hundreds of thousands, potentially millions of people watching across multiple platforms
That's popular politics, that's political communication, that's a heck of a lot better than I would expect from most Dems. Between folks like AOC holding rallies, Chris Murphy holding town hall events in red districts, and this, I think we're actually seeing some level of embrace of politics that embraces the populace. Cory Booker is pretty awful in a lot of ways, but he did a pretty good thing here.
