Sometimes I wake up from a Bitcoin nightmare.
What if we are stuck in the multiverse where Bitcoin doesn’t succeed? What if the next 100 years are like 1984? What if we are mere slaves of the elite and political class who steal our time and energy? Will the people of Africa ever be freed from post physical colonialism and corruption and be able to benefit from the resources right under their feet? These things keep my up at night.
I try to see in the good in humans. In civilization as a whole. It’s hard. The massive river of ignorance seems to flow towards totalitarianism. Sometimes I feel too tired to swim.
I really wouldn’t know what to do without my family and Bitcoin. They give me hope and keep me going. Let’s hope Bitcoin succeeds. We need it. I need it.
