Please read Max Neef's Human Scale Development. The only way we can improve society is by first raising awareness about a framework that actually works for resolving conflict and improving the well being of people.
Until then we are just yelling at each other like a couple does when arguing about something that isn't actually the problem. The problem is that one of the two has an emotional need that has to be satisfied and because it isn't satisfied they have a temporal pathology and can't evaluate reality well nor make decisions well.
