I feel so privileged to have a house, but endlessly frustrated with the previous owners’ remodeling decisions. Even before HGTV inspired DIYers to make questionable design decisions, homeowners were just slapping faux wood paneling, vinyl, and shag carpet over perfectly nice original finishes. 😩
