Not just praise but outright lied to. A man wearing clothing fit for a woman's shape, generally does not look good. Telling them that just gives them notions. It's the reason why I was reading an account on another site about a woman being sent, not your average dick pic, but a picture from a potential date of him bent over, displaying his ass hole.
Guys, what you find attractive in us, we just don't find attractive in you. We are not you. Go find a mirror if your own reflection is that important.
