I was in Atlanta this past weekend checking out the venue for HODLween (npub1s3l…dgdu) and promoting the event. First a huge thanks to atlbitlab (npub1cst…gekj) and Bit Plebs for being so welcoming! It's really amazing to meet other bitcoiners and communities who share the same vision for our future world. There is an immediate connection that is hard to explain.
Second, as I was promiting to non bitcoiners, I got a huge positive response about the party. This hasn't happened in Charlotte the past 3 years. People were excited about a bitcoin party, they had at least heard about Bitcoin and even got more excited when they knew it was a Satoshi Nakamoto costume contest. Whether they show up or not, I see this as a win - years ago people would just laugh if you mentioned bitcoin. WAGMI! 🥳
