"content": "I bought a very affordable PS30SW VI power supply from AliExpress. It turns out that the power poles were oriented the wrong way for amateur radio use. Luckily I managed to take it apart and reorient the power poles. Much better!\n\nThere are some other interesting quirks of this power supply. The 2×2 power pole output is not that easy to use. To plug in two 2×1 plugs you first need to slide them into each other and then connect both simultaneously. The plugs cannot have rubber boots.\n\nAlso, the voltage knob, which ranges from about 8 V to 15 V, seems to be logarithmic. The 8 to 10 V part takes up about two thirds of the range. 13.8 V is at about \"90% setting*.\n\nBut it seems to work. And so far the fan hasn't run.
