If you have called me brother in the past I'm not mad. I sincerely hope to build friendships deserving of the name. But that's quite a bond and takes a lot of sacrifice. I want people to appreciate the gravity of it.
I'm sick of people calling me "brother" when they barely fucking know me. I have an actual brother. I won't use that word for anyone else except him because nobody else deserves it. I appreciate the sentiment but I don't have patience for performative familiarity.
