just consider... *before* ai, we were already talking about water shortages. how private companies were buying up land around the colorado river in order to obtain water rights. and then overnight we created a completely fucking worthless industry to suck the world dry of whatever water is left. its outrageous. its truly incredible that humans think of themselves as so much more intelligent than other species, when we're almost literally the frog in beaker sitting on a boiler.
