Modern Israelis have no claim to the land because Jews of a genetically different population lived there in pre Roman times. The idea is fucking stupid. These are European Jews who emigrated to what is now Israel. There are lots of arguments that can be made in favor of Israel but "it's their ancient home" is fucking stupid.
