feeling a little less anxious this afternoon... couple glasses of wine, some Kingdom Two Crowns gameplay and lots of decent quiet outside... the darkness has fallen now and i'm danged gonna get an early night tonight
haven't had an espresso since just before lunch so i think i might manage
gonna stay low key for a while though... feel like i put myself out there a bit too much with the landpersons arriving and changing the vibe of things from mostly solitary to omg people
madeira is pretty busy this time of year... so much grape picking and trucks ladened with big stainless steel bins and plastic tubs full of bunches of grapes off to the press, and everyone seems more than usually gregarious, and it does rather seem like a lot of people come back here after the year overseas working somewhere else
my landpeople work in the UK, somewhere, i forget, maybe near oxford... no idea how that was considering recent news... that kinda makes me nervous but ... well... i will still stay low key anyhow...
it is obvious i'm low key famous around here for being an oddity... the bicycle, the long hair, the style of dress, the bitcoin stuff
i don't think i'm unliked just very eccentric by their standards
