Ecash mints are great but the ecosystem is too chaotic. UX will always be terrible unless we can have public reliability metrics like ranking, tracking liquidity, service uptime, payment success rate, applied fees, and so on.
Without public metrics mints cannot compete with lightning banks. I wonder if I can find a mint that agrees to announce its node ID.
