There are so many measures a person can use to gauge their evolution through the years. For me, what music interests me, how it affects me, captures it pretty well.
So many phases, but I find myself right now thinking of the head banger kid who listened to James Gang at +10 on the volume knob, loved that it just took over the room, forced itself on him . . .
And what would he think of the old man he transformed into, a fellow who listens to Luis Berra at +3 on the volume knob . . . 1/2
