Tried to get a coffee and cake at the small cafe near where my wife is getting her nails done.

No room inside except for a couple of seats on a table for four where a couple of women were sitting.
I asked if I could sit there and was told quite rudely that I couldn't.

Asked at the counter for a takeaway coffee and peice of flapjack - apparently (the clingfilm wrapped) cakes can't be taken away, and if I want coffee I'll have to wait because they're very busy with customers!

It's clearly a business that really knows how to make people welcome and build repeat custom. Not.
Maybe it's a village thing?

(I know I can't blame the cafe for the rude customers but they set the tone)
