I'm not sure what the path to safer seats is for the Greens. The presence of high profile independents at a time when the so called Independent/Teal Wave was getting plenty of media hasn't helped them. Advance have been pushing various lies to undermine the Greens and that's being slavishly repeated by Labor, Libs and Nat's. That probably has influenced the votes of many who, being dissatisfied with the two major parties, might have voted Green but now choose Independent.
I don't think a change of leader would achieve very much but I do think the Greens need to get closer to their electorates - be active community Greens.
