"content": "Yeah most of the high-speed DACs I've looked at do current output, and then give you the ~same two reference designs for converting that back to a voltage, either with load resistors of a buffer opamp.\n\nThe functional block diagram is basically identical to the AD and Maxim DACs I looked at, at this kind of sampling rate. Seems to be firmly a solved design, most of the fanciness is trimming the current array and voltage references during manufacturing.",
