Being comfortable riding my bike to most places, making ac units, using rocket stoves for more cooking & heating sand batteries for warmth in the winter, composting food and humanure (soon enough). Next up on the list are using rain water more wisely, adding a couple solar panels for specific uses, having a bicycle generator as a backup option.
Better to learn now and teach others.
