Gotta love old newspapers!
Just found an article about a divorce for Llewellyn Hankins in Butler County, Ohio. He was my great great grandfather's second cousin. More importantly - his father is rumored to have taken the family bible from New Jersey to Ohio in the 1850s . . .
This is one of the few things other than census records I've found for the family
