Yesterday, masto.host experienced an outage due to some issues with their storage provider / data center (OVHcloud). This meant, for some 10-20 min I was unable to use *this* account. As oh-so-dreadful as it was to be cut-off from my main Fedi presence for that whopping ~20 min, it was awesome that I could easily jump over to one of my other alternate Fedi accounts and keep on scrollin' and interacting. THAT'S decentralization for ya... contrast that with Bsky outages and you see the difference.
