A couple of Mastodon friends mentioned reading "Duma Key," so I got hold of the book and am reading at night. Last night I read until midnight, then rolled out of bed at about 06:30 this morning to deal with Ben and Charlie. They require considerable care you know, and that took about an hour. Then I dozed in my recliner until after 10 this morning, when Charlie decided I'd had enough sleep. After letting the dogs out, "again," I poured myself a cup of hot coffee and came in here to my office to blog. I know, all of this doesn't sound all that interesting, but it gets me through life; even after retirement one must have a purpose, and it's the little things that fill our lives.
