What happens, then, if we design for coding environments where people are systematically exposed primarily to outcomes-without-effort and where human thinking through experimentation--including failed experimentation--is rendered invisible? We lose something not just incredible valuable, but perhaps load bearing for innovation, in the name of "efficiency"
