I have no objection to anyone charging for their work – it's work, and there's a very good name for people who think workers shouldn't be paid for their work – but I don't think the paywalling system actually works well long term for either writers or readers. I prefer a patreon system, where you're paying to support ALL a person's work, rather than atomising it, as if each post was a product.
