Economists on the left have been calling for revising the inflation target to 3%. Meanwhile, inflation is stubbornly refusing to reach the 2% target that Bernanke moronically set. Oil isn’t getting cheaper and OPEC has no reason to help there either.
The market expects the pivot to come next June now. Seems like yesterday the pivot was expected in June ‘23.
