👉 Opinion Poll: What is a reasonable amount uptime to expect from public relays at this stage of the game? Keeping in mind that offline relays can cause client slowness, and in some cases, missing data (may or may not be a temporary loss).
Tier 1 Uptime: 99. 671% or less than 28.8 hours of downtime per year
Tier 2 Uptime:Â 99.741% or less than 22 hours of downtime per year
Tier 3 Uptime: 99. 982% or less than 1.6 hours of downtime per year
Tier 4 Uptime: 99. 995% or less than 26.3 minutes of downtime per year
And yes, I get it... Disasters happen.. I've dealt with a number of them myself, and I'm sure I'll have to deal with a few more before my time is up 😅...
